Lecture at the TU Chemnitz
During the fifth Chemnitz Produktionstechnischen Kolloquiums CPK 2008 Dr. Nordmann gave a lecture on 22/10/08 entitled "New and proven methods of tool monitoring, both accompanying processes and post-process"
(Download the lecture as a Powerpoint file).
The event organised by Prof. Neugebauer had the theme this time of "Machining at the limits". This is precisely the process status that can be used with little risk with tool monitoring accompanying the process. Dr. Nordmann tests the limits in motor sports too - but not without risk. The subject of "Limits" was hence tailored to our taste.

Tool length probe PCS-100
Nordmann offers a probe that mechanically swivels into place called the PCS-100 for tool monitoring. This probe functions post-processually and complements the range of process-accompanying monitoring means. It can be used together with the SEM tool monitor module.
